Opportunities and Challenges around the New European Artificial Intelligence Regulation

Event organised by ISDE and KPMG on the opportunities and challenges posed by the new European Regulation on Artificial Intelligence.

During this roundtable, chaired by KPMG, there will be an in-depth discussion on what this regulation entails and the implications and needs of companies in terms of its practical implementation. Topics to be discussed include:

• Introduction, concepts and scope of application of the IA Regulation.
• Classification of IA systems; their obligations and requirements.
• Institutional governance system and proposed sanctioning regime.
• The intersection of the IA Regulation with the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
